The Pattaya Dive Centre is part of one of the largest dive centres in Thailand which means we have a huge pool of resources such as 4 dive boats, 1st class dive equipment, fully qualified service technicians and instructors, a full selection of diving courses, with multilingual staff to enable us to offer all our customers the personal attention they need.

LOGISTICS
Diving is possible all year around and dive shops will mostly pick you from your hotel and transport you to the departure pier. Diving is a number of sites around the Near and Far islands (not very imaginative with their names here!). Far islands tend to have better diving, there are also a couple of wreck dives in the area.
WHERE TO STAY
Pattaya has a huge range of places to stay, including long term lets. The farther you are from the beach, the cheaper they tend to be.
The excellent songthaws that run along the beach road and back along 2nd road are outstanding value for money, the fixed fare being 10 baht! A refreshing change from the thieves that operate Tuks Tuks in Phuket, (minimum fare 100 Baht!). Staying on the songthaw route is a bonus.
TAKE ME THERE
Pattaya does have a small airport with links to major cities, but it is only a 2 hour taxi or bus ride from Bangkok. Buses leave from both Eastern, Northern, and Southern bus terminals. Taxis are advertised in many places and for 4 people it is a bargain (1,200 Baht).
It does also have a slow daily train from Hua Lam Phong station.
Anywhere other than Bangkok, Trat you would need to get yourself to Bangkok and travel from there.
PATTAYA is only a few hours away from Bangkok and diving is possible all year around, although there is nothing in the way of shore diving. There are two near by islands offering a number of dive sites with a couple of reachable wrecks. Weekends can get busy with people from Bangkok. Although Pattaya had bad press in the past it has gone along way to clean up their act (literally!) by building, and enforcing use of sewerage treatment works to which everyone is now connected (something a few of Thailand’s islands need to learn!), consequently, the waters surrounding Pattaya are much cleaner than before. Famed for it's night life, it is also a cheap place to hang out.
YOU ARE LOOKING AT DIVING IN PATTAYA, THAILAND. NOT THE BEST DIVING IN THAILAND, BUT IT HAS DECENT REEFS AND A COUPLE OF WRECKS, PLUS PATTAYA’S FAMED NIGHTLIFE!
