TAKE ME THERE

International flights from Europe will probably go to Manila, but Cebu does have an international airport and therefore you are spared the Manila Mayhem! Flights from Asia may go into Clark (Angles). There are lots of local airports in the Philippines and flights are cheap (but watch your luggage allowance which may be 15 kilos). Generally travel is very cheap and you can get just about anywhere! Rumours of a possible crossing into Malaysia would be great, but that has not been confirmed.

PHILIPPINES AT A GLANCE

Flag courtesy of www.theodora.com used with permission

Diving is possible all year around somewhere! However, transportation during the typhoon season can be difficult

Wet months June to October

VISAS

Most nationalities get 21 day free visa on entry (a bargain in Asia at the moment!)

Visas can be extended easily at a reasonable cost
